Hart Middle School does not provide school bus transportation, but Metrorail and Metrobus are convenient options. Through the
Kids Ride Free program (KRF), students with the new SmartTrip card can ride Metrorail and Metrobus to and from school for free from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM and from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
By Metrorail, Hart MS is a 15 minute walk from the Congress Heights Green Line stop. By Metrobus, Hart MS is accessible by lines A2, A4, A6, A7, A8, W1, W2, W3 and W4.
Students may walk, bike, or skateboard to school. Students who choose to bike should wear a helmet, and bring a bike lock to secure their bike during the school day. Parents and guardians are also welcome to drop-off students.
